| Links, Labels, Chromogens, Enzyme Conjugates |

BioGenex offers links, labels, and chromogens as individual components. The BioGenex links for link-label detection systems are compatible with BioGenex antibodies. Links are available as either species-specific or as MultiLink® secondary antibodies. MultiLink® permits the detection of mouse, rabbit, guinea pig, and rat primary antibodies, providing a universal link reagent for use with most monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies. The MultiLink® permits detection of mouse IgG+IgM and rabbit Ig primary antibodies. The IgM specific mouse link is also available separately for user convenience.
The links are available in both ready-to-use and concentrated formats.

Chromogens and Labels
BioGenex offers complete Substrate Packs for immunohistochemical staining with alkaline phosphatase and peroxidase labels. They are designed to reduce substrate preparation time and minimize exposure to chemical hazards. All substrates listed are compatible with the BioGenex SuperMount® permanent aqueous mounting medium.
BioGenex also offers the "One-Step" AEC Solution for the ultimate in staining convenience. This ready-to-use solution eliminates the need for any reagent mixing, provides well-delineated staining patterns and allows excellent visualization of cellular components. Color development is rapid, 5 minutes or less in most cases.
Chromogens
AEC (Peroxidase substrate) produces a brick red color that contrasts strongly with the purple hematoxylin counterstain . It is available as a convenient single, ready-to-use reagent. AEC is decolorized by alcohols, xylene, and strong sunlight.
BCIP/NBT (Phosphatase substrate) produces a permanent purple precipitate that exhibits high sensitivities and resolution. Reactions can be carried out for extended periods of time for increased sensitivity.
DAB (Peroxidase) produces a permanent dark brown precipitate that is 3-5x more sensitive than AEC.
Fast Red (Phosphatase) produces a bright red color that is also fluorescent. Fast Red is decolorized by alcohols and xylene.
