Multi-Tissue Slides are designed for efficient and cost-effective characterization of the quality and specificity of antibodies used for immunohistochemical staining. Each slide contains multiple individual tissue sections in either a checkerboard or sausage pattern. Checkerboard slides include a detailed map of the location and type of each tissue; sausage slides include a general map showing clusters of tissue types. Knowledge of antigen distribution and density in the various tissues permits rapid assessment of antibody specificity and sensitivity.
Multi-Tissue Slides are useful for testing new antibodies (e.g., for hybridoma screening) and can be used for routine quality control.
